Viking Island Lodge is a resort located in Woodland Caribou Wilderness Park Dedicated to Fishing for Walleye, Northern, and Lake Trout. Fish Douglas, Onnie, Embryo, Hatchett, Caribou Lakes. Book the whole camp with a group of 12-26 people.

If you have a group of 12-20 people, you can book the whole camp. Please call for details.
  • 7 Nights $1450 (Sat. am to Sat. am)
  • 6 Nights $ 1325(Sun. to Sat.)
  • 5 Nights $ 1110 (Sat. am to Thu am or Mon. am to Sat am)
  • 4 Nights $ 1085 (Sat. am to Wed. am)
  • 3 Nights $ 950 (Wed. am to Sat. am)
Check in Time: 6:00 am on Saturday - 8:00 am all other days
Children under 16 years are 2/3 of full rate.
Guide Service available upon request at $150 per day.
Flight to Overnight Cabin on Embryo Lake $170 per person return
  • A deposit of $300.00 (U.S. Funds) per person (non-refundable) is required.
Our Fishing Packages Include:
Float plane flight from Red Lake to Viking Island and return.
Free Conservation license for those choosing not to take fish home.
14’ and 16’ boats with 9.9 motors and unlimited gas.
Nets, minnow pails and anchors.
Hot Showers, bedding, towels and housekeeping provided.
Care of fish. (American Plan only)
Ice.
Three home cooked meals a day served at the lodge. (American Plan only)

How about a shore lunch? - If you prefer take a shore lunch kit with all the equipment for cooking fresh caught fish or a box lunch.

Explore the area! - Several portage lakes with boats, motors and gas on site (Embryo, Onnie, Hatchet, Caribou and Peterson Lakes.

Air Transport:
Air transportation is included in our price and is provided by Viking Outpost Air from our facilities in Red Lake. A baggage limit of 90 pounds per person is maintained to provide maximum utilization of our aircraft. Additional weight will be flown at our convenience at an additional cost. Soda pop and beer are available at camp. Please advise us of any special requirements when booking your reservation.
