Brian, Marilyn and I set up our booth for the Minneapolis Sportshow. We were feeling pretty optimistic as we had had such a good time at the Chicago Sportshow.
Unfortunately we had raised our expectations too high. The show was a disappointment. The people we spoke to were all very nice and interesting, and I have to say Minneapolis is a beautiful city. We made time to walk the Stone Arch Bridge over the Mississippi River.
The Sportshow people were not very nice. They were actually quite rude, definitely not helpful. Speaking to the other lodges who had booths set up, I found everyone had the same complaint - the people representing the Northwest sportshow were rude and unhelpful, and attendance was way down from previous years.
Since we didn't really enjoy our experience working with the Progressive Show, we are open to new suggestions of Sportshows to go to for next year!
